Don't live in Lee, Clarendon, or Sumter counties, or designated parts of Florence, Richland, or Lexington counties?
Follow these steps to make your employees eligible to join the SAFE field of membership:
1. Send a letter to our CEO requesting that the employees
of your company be eligible for membership. Download (Adobe Acrobat*
pdf file)and have your company president or owner complete one
of the following letters on your company's letterhead:
Letter for
companies with over 3000 employees
Letter for
companies with less than 3000 employees
2. Complete an application.
3. Return both to SAFE via fax, 803-905-7528 or by mail: SAFE FCU, P. O. Box 2008, Sumter, SC 29151, Attn: Membership Development. Call extension 266 or 399 or email:

Remember, if you live, work,
worship or go to school in Lee, Clarendon, Sumter counties or parts of Florence, Richland or Lexington counties, you
are automatically eligible to join SAFE.
Once your company has been
approved for membership by the SAFE board of directors and the
National Credit Union Administration, we will be able to begin
serving your employees.
