One of the biggest benefits of credit unions is the service called shared branching. It means you can visit other credit unions and self-service kiosks in the CU Service Centers family across the nation and abroad, and take care of transactions as if you were at your home branch. You can make deposits and withdrawals, loan payments and transfers. And you can purchase money orders, travelers checks and other financial instruments. To find a nearby shared branch, as well as ATMs in the CO-OP Network, you can use your smart phone or various other locator tools.
Joint Members visiting other cooperative network credit unions will need to have the credit union place a phone call to a SAFE branch to verify joint membership.
Members can find a Shared Branch location near them by going to the website: creditunion.net and using the map available.
