Identity theft is quickly becoming one of the most organized and costly crimes of our time. Reduce the chance of your personal ID theft by joining SAFE at our FREE Shred Event where you can destroy all personal documents and files.

It is estimated that every year more than eight million Americans fall victim to identity theft, losing over $40 billion dollars annually. Protect yourself from identity theft with free shredding of all personal documents. Bring up to four boxes of items to be shredded. Suggested items to shred are financial statements, cancelled checks, credit card statements and credit card pre-approval letters, payroll stubs, insurance forms, old tax returns, forms from doctor's offices, etc.

Due to popular demand, SAFE Federal Credit Union will now host monthly Shred Events that are FREE for members and community residents. Shredding will be provided by Carolina Records and Information Management.

On behalf of Harvest Hope Food Bank, SAFE will accept monetary and non-perishable food items at each Shred Event.
