FREE COMMUNITY SHRED EVENT

posted: Monday, May 11, 2009

SAFE Federal Credit Union is sponsoring five Shred-It Days, FREE for members and community residents. Shredding will be provided by Carolina Records and Information Management.

It is estimated that every year more than eight million Americans fall victim to identity theft, losing over $40 billion dollars annually. Protect yourself from identity theft with free shredding of all personal documents. Bring up to four boxes of items to be shredded. Suggested items to shred are financial statements, cancelled checks, credit card statements and credit card pre-approval letters, payroll stubs, insurance forms, old tax returns, forms from doctor's offices, etc.

Protect yourself from identity theft! Take advantage of SAFE's Shred-It Days. The free Shred-It Days are open to the community.
