Terms And Conditions - SAFE Federal Credit Union (also referred to within this document as 'SAFE', 'we', 'us') provides this site as a convenience to individuals in the market of purchasing vehicles through an auction/bidding format. Awarded bidder must submit bid price within 3 business days after notification of winning bid. Payment must be payable in U.S. Dollars and if personal check is approved for payment by us, it must be payable through a U.S. financial institution. Failure to pay will result in the bidder being banned from future bidding. SAFE Federal Credit Union employees, officials and their immediate families are not eligible to bid on these vehicles.

Inspection - Persons wishing to bid on any vehicle are encouraged to inspect vehicle prior to placing their bid. Persons wishing to have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic at their own expense may arrange for such inspection with SAFE Federal Credit Union, 160 Wesmark Blvd. , Sumter , South Carolina . Vehicle pictures have not been altered or enhanced and all vehicles sold by us are sold "as is" without warranty, either express or implied.

Bids - The winning bid will be notified via email within 24 hours after the closing time that he/she has been awarded the sale. Once a bid is placed, it will remain valid until the bidder removes it. The submitter or SAFE may remove a bid at their discretion.

Liability - By your use of the SAFE's web auction site on repossessed vehicles, you agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SAFE Federal Credit Union, its officers, directors, employees, and other affiliated agencies that may maintain this site or process against ANY AND ALL CLAIMS arising out of said use, regardless of the cause, effects, or fault. Under no circumstances will SAFE, its officers, directors, employees, or affiliated agencies be liable for any damages from your reliance upon anything derived from this site even if SAFE, its officers, directors, employees, or affiliates have been advised that such defect or unsuitability exists. SAFE, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates disclaim all liability to you for damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees, and you have no remedies for negligence or under strict liability, or for breach of warranty or contract, including but not limited to indirect, consequential, punitive or incidental damages, even if you give notice of the possibility of such damages. SAFE's liability in any case shall not exceed $100.00 USD in accordance to this agreement.

Taxes, Licenses and Fees - By accessing our auction site, you assure us that you will comply with any and all local, county, district, state, and federal laws concerning any and all purchases. You also agree that you are not using SAFE's auction/sale as a means to purchase said vehicle to conduct or perform illegal activities. You are responsible in paying all state, local, and federal taxes in addition to other associated fees as applicable after receipt of said vehicle. {This may include, but not limited to delivery charges, internet charges, etc.}
