This simple online form will take all of your information
necessary to become an eMember. For any reason, you will also be
able to download a .pdf version of the application if
necessary.
What is the eMember Program?
The eMember Program is a system of benefits designed to reward
SAFE members for utilizing electronic services such as: SAFENET,
SAFE Touch, Direct Deposit, ATMs, SAFEMATIC 2 debit cards, Credit
Cards, and more.
As of July 1, 2011, new eMembers will receive eStatements
only.
How does eMember work?
When you choose to become an eMember, you agree to conduct all
of your transactions electronically. You are rewarded with free
bill payment service, discounts on credit card and other loan
rates, free bank wires and more. Additionally, you will save time
and money. You will be able to access your accounts 24 hours a day,
365 days a year AND from any location world wide through a
telephone, a computer, an ATM or a retail merchant! No driving to
the branch - No waiting in line - No holding on the telephone! Just
FAST, EASY, CONVENIENT service from the privacy of your home,
office, car, or hotel room.
Does it cost to become an eMember?
NO. Not only is there no charge to become an eMember, it
will actually save you money. Here's how:
- Use electronic bill payment FREE OF CHARGE
- Pay lower rates for loans including credit cards
- Wire money FREE OF CHARGE
Are there any costs after I become an eMember?
NO. As long as you do not perform a transaction
directly with an employee at a SAFE branch or through the telephone
branch (Member Service Center), you will never pay any costs for
receiving the benefits. If a transaction can be done through
electronic means and you choose to request it at one of the
branches, we will charge you $1. If the transaction cannot be
performed electronically, we will be more than happy to handle it
for you in a branch lobby or through the Member Service Center FREE
OF CHARGE.
What if I don't want to become an eMember?
There is absolutely NO obligation to sign up for this service if
you prefer the personal contact of a branch visit. The eMember
Program is designed for busy people who prefer conducting financial
business at their own convenience, from any location. You may be
already handling all your transactions through electronic means,
but you must sign up to be an eMember to get the benefits outlined
above.
