CUSC Shared Branching
Shared Branching Gives You Access to More Than 5,000 Locations
One of the biggest benefits of credit unions is the service called shared branching. It means you can visit other credit unions and self-service kiosks in the CU Service Centers family across the nation and abroad, and take care of transactions as if you were at your home branch. You can make deposits and withdrawals, loan payments and transfers. And you can purchase money orders and other financial instruments. To find a nearby shared branch, as well as ATMs in the CO-OP Network, you can use your smart phone or various other locator tools.
Anywhere you see the swirl you can conduct a range of transactions, such as:
- Loan Payments
- Make transfers between accounts
- Purchase money orders and official checks*
- And more!
To take advantage of this service, when you enter a shared branch you only need to bring:
- Your home credit union's name (SAFE Federal Credit Union)
- Your member number
- Valid government-issued photo identification, i.e., State Driver's license, US Passport
Joint Members visiting other cooperative network credit unions will need to have the credit union place a phone call to a SAFE branch to verify joint membership.
Fee-Free Access to your Money, Almost Anywhere!
