SAFE on Shaw AFB
SAFE Federal Credit Union was originally founded by civilian employees of Shaw Air Force Base, and we’ve never turned our back on that history. We strive to be an integral member of the Shaw AFB community and to celebrate and support the military and our veterans wherever possible. We’ve hosted Independence Day celebrations for DoD cardholders, sponsored military appreciation picnics for Veteran’s Day, and sponsored Military Summer Reading programs.
We also aim to help improve the Sumter community that has housed us for so long by sponsoring supply drives, joining in community clean-ups, providing scholarship opportunities, and working to improve schools in our community. More importantly, as a not-for-profit credit union we aim to help our members by achieving the best possible financial outcomes and providing member bonuses and interest rebates.
